The combination of this course and our Performance Car Control Course will provide you with a complete picture of road driving ability and advanced car control skills, with the invaluable requirements for safe, enjoyable driving. You can save £20 by booking both courses.
Course Instructors
The Driver Development Programme works with highly qualified Instructors to offer this interesting and exciting full day course. Amongst our top grade advanced driving instructors is John Cave.
John's many qualifications include the coveted RoSPA Diploma for Advanced Driving Instruction and he is, of course, a qualified Approved Driving Instructor to the highest grade: Grade 6.
If John isn’t available, or you wish to take your course in another part of the country, or indeed you require a female instructor, then please contact us. We have access to many of the best advanced road instructors in the country, with qualifications in line with John, also including Police Grade one. The course content will be along the same lines as John’s.

Course Content
Emphasis is on raising road driving standards to a level beyond that of the majority of road users. Putting you one step ahead, your earlier-than-ever ability to anticipate will make you truly safe on the road.
We encompass some of the most stunning and challenging roads in the UK, exploiting your potential to command the roads safely.
The Performance Road Drive Course includes:
• Correct technique including relaxed seating position, steering method, correct use of brakes & gears, use of vision etc.
• Bend assessment.
• Make swift safe progression, including overtaking.
• Knowledge of new road markings, signage and latest regulations.
• Avoid unwelcome attention from the Police.
John is amongst the elite for his communication and training skills. His unique personality, commitment and enthusiasm ensure you a fascinating day of fun and learning.
Full day courses start out from John’s base in Oxfordshire. Other start points can be arranged. (there will be a mileage charge in this instance)
