It is becoming busier and busier on the public driving days and more and more people are looking to the few Exclusive days available at The 'Ring, seeking quiet, quality track time, once found at this beautiful place in years gone by. DDP Nurburgring Track Knowledge Courses offer this prime time.

The Driver Development Programme offers a rare chance to learn the Nurburgring Nordschleife, "the most beautiful and exciting race track in the world" on a selection of Exclusive Training Days run by Nurburg’s Motorsport Akadamie (MAN)

The Motorsport Akadamie Nurburg MAN) run exclusive days for the purpose of introducing racing “rookies” to the Nordschleife. Also allowing other drivers of all abilities the chance to learn this track with high quality tuition and guidance, on a quiet track and away from the very hectic public days.

the Nurburgring

For the driver, the Nurburgring Nordschleife (North Loop) is the ultimate challenge. It's rollercoaster 12.9 miles offers every kind of corner you'll find on any circuit around the world. Your driving ability and car control skills are tested to the full by the blind curves and crests, steep gradients, and frequent changes in road surface conditions, making the Nordschleife the most demanding, challenging course for any track or race driver.

Opened in 1927, this circuit is steeped in history. Here motor sports idols such as Rudolf Caracciola, Hermann Lang, Juan Manuel Fangio, to name a few made history with their daredevil exploits. Many will remember Jackie Stewart's stunning victory at the 1968 German Grand Prix and the notorious Lauda accident in 1976, which ended Grand Prix racing on the North Loop. Racing does still take place on this awesome track, such as the VLN series of endurance races, the ADAC 24 hour race, as well as numerous historic race events.

course overview/itinerary

Evening prior to course:

• 16.30 (at latest) Arrive hotel.
• 18.45 Meet for optional welcome dinner (€55). (Venue varies with date.)
• 20.00 Classroom/briefing.

Day of course:

• 08.00-11.00 Instruction. Convoy/follow instructor/one on one.
• 11.00-14.00 Free lapping with instructors available through to the end of the programme.

Instructors with English customers will be English speaking and have a wealth of Nordschleife knowledge to impart.

If you don't wish to take the course in your own car, we have a range of track cars for hire. The default car covered by the price shown, is the Alfa75 TS. RWD, transaxle. The gear box to the back makes these cars very well balanced. They have no ABS or traction control. They have harnesses and rollcages and are set up for this track.These cars are perfect for the job of learning The Nordschleife and fun as well!

For an additional cost, we also have tha Alfa V6 on race suspension, semi slicks at a small additional cost. Other cars for the season are 2008 Clio sports, Clio V6, Renault Megane F1, Caterham Acadamy, please enquire. For already experienced Ring drivers we offer Porsche GT3 and Prosport LM3000.
